At the heart of the BrightLine Circle-of-Care™ cloud services platform is a highly scalable state-of-the-art XDS (which stands for Cross(X)-Enterprise Document Sharing) Registry/Repository capable of handling any type data, regardless of size. XDS is the emerging healthcare standard for data and workflow interoperability. With XDS, all data is treated as a “document” and is tied to a specific patient and encounter. It was designed to be web-friendly and efficient. BrightLine’s Circle-of-Care implementation manages incoming and outgoing data, storing each record securely in our infrastructure, and providing full traceability of user access and transactions. Data is viewed through the web-based Circle-of-Care Imaging application, or shared with our soon-to-be-released Collaboration application, all using the latest in secure web-services standards and available across any computer or tablet using Windows or Mac OS. Because we use standard browser technology, we can deliver the most cost-effective services to any size facility or user group.
Our Circle-of-Care applications are designed to be data and vendor agnostic, supporting the smallest transaction to the most intense imaging workload. Our universal streaming XDS/DICOM radiology viewer has been designed to provide a clean, rich user environment and fast visualization of any DICOM 3.x-compliant modality. We also offer the capability to interface our platform to various other desktop workstation solutions for application-specific activities.
Hosted by IBM’s SoftLayer™ group, our Cloud Services are monitored on a 24/7 basis, and are available anywhere on the globe. Leveraging the reach and power of IBM’s cloud platform we can deliver a consistent, high-performance user experience any time, anywhere.
To help drive market interoperability (the sharing of data and workflow between vendors and systems), as we expand our platform, we will publish software and hardware interfaces to allow other vendors and manufacturers to tie products and services into our Circle-of-Care.
